Camera is rolling to catch any action. In residential neighborhood. Nice day so people are out. Nobody is aware of my presence.

In the U.S., the Pinkerton National Detective Agency was a private detective agency established in 1850 by Allan Pinkerton. Pinkerton had become famous when he foiled a plot to assassinate then President-Elect Abraham Lincoln. Pinkerton's agents performed services which ranged from undercover investigations and detection of crimes to plant protection and armed security. It is sometimes claimed, probably with exaggeration, that at the height of its existence the Pinkerton National Detective Agency employed more agents than the United States Army. [1]
Pinkerton agents were also hired to track western outlaws Jesse James, the Reno brothers, and the Wild Bunch, including Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. The Pinkerton agency's logo, an eye embellished with the words "We Never Sleep," inspired the term "private eye."[4]
It was not until the prosperity of the 1920s that the private investigator became a person accessible to the average American. With the wealth of the 1920s and the expanding of the middle class came the need of middle America for private investigators.[5]
Sitting in a vehicle, waiting for a subject to come out to his. Is the guy guilty? Time will tell, and if he is video will be the proof. Their are people carrying on a loud conversation about 6 feet from me. They don't know I exist, if they did they might watch what they was saying.
Just another day in the life of a private detective.

I am thinking about writing a fiction book, about my real life career. Here is something I wrote very quickly. The idea for the book is to tell it from 1st person perspective, by each character in the book. Read this sample, and tell me what you think.
Chapter 1 - Susan, or is it?
Hello. My name is Susan, except that it isn't. You see, I am afraid for anyone to know my real name. I am embarrassed, scared and confused. I have always felt controlled in my life. I am a generally happy person with an attractive and successful husband. I have 3 children. 2 boys and a girl. My oldest is in college. I am the envy of all my friends, and I have lots of friends.
I am embarrassed, scared, and confused because my life is a lie. I didn't realize it until last week. I had suspicions before then, but I chose to ignore them. Last week my husbands cell phone made an unusual sound. My husband was in the shower at the time getting ready for a fundraiser we were about to attend. I didn't really mean to, but I picked up my husbands phone to look at it. There was a message on the screen. I nearly collapsed when I saw what it said.
I look up to different people at different times, for different reasons. My hero today though is Dawn Krantz-Watts. She is my hero because of who she is, what she does, and why she does it. Dawn is a woman of integrity, and deep caring.

Remember that whatever today is, tomorrow will be different. Everthing changes. When things are bad, they won't stay bad. When things are good, they won't stay good.
Life is a good thing though. Good or bad day, life is good.
Enjoy it.
