Hmmm...this reminds me of my Fatty's son who got beaten up recently just because he was physically next to a boy, the group of bullies wanted to get. Seeing his bruised face, I think I fussed over him more than Fatty and mum did! Poor boy!

That is a little different. It is a good point though. My post was saying that the other people would influece you to be like them. In the situation you mention, it was perceived by others that he was the same. Still a good example of why you should be careful who you spend time with.

It does sound like in your situation that the boy just may have been in the wrong place at the wrong time.

The boys in the gang may have also been much worse by their association with each other.

It is always unfortunate when someone is victimized. I hope he is ok.
